Koshi Province: CPN-UML MPs Intensify Campaign Against Chief Minister Hikmat Kumar Karki

Biratnagar. MPs of Koshi Province have intensified the signature campaign against Chief Minister and CPN-UML Parliamentary Party leader Hikmatkumar Karki. Following the MPs' campaign, MPs close to the Chief Minister have expressed dissatisfaction.

A decision was made at a meeting of the province's officials and parliamentary party at the CMIN-UML office in Biratnagar on Monday to send three leaders to the capital for discussions with Chairman KP Sharma Oli. As per the agreement, Province In-charge Sherdhan Rai, Chief Minister Hikmatkumar Karki, and Province Chairman Ghanshyam Khatiwada are scheduled to go to Kathmandu. Chief Minister Karki also flew to Kathmandu at 2 PM. However, the Chief Minister became dissatisfied after the signature campaign was launched under the direction of Province In-charge Sherdhan Rai, contrary to the agreement.
