Kathmandu. An 'Urgent Public Importance Proposal' has been registered in the Federal Parliament House of Representatives regarding the eviction of landless squatters living on riverbanks across the country, including the Kathmandu Valley, without adequate preparation and alternatives.
The proposal, registered on Ashad 31st by Honorable MP Bhishma Raj Angdembe as proposer and MPs Aain Bahadur Mahar, Yuvraj Dulal, and Harka Raj Rai as supporters, in accordance with Rule 71 of the House of Representatives Regulations, 2083, is being discussed in the House of Representatives today.
