Govt, family of deceased Rabindra Mehata make progress in talks

Kathmandu, Aug 5: Talks between the government and the family of Rabindra Mehata, who died after being injured in the Sunsari incident, have ended on a positive note, according to the Home Ministry.

During discussions held on Tuesday at Tribhuvan University Teaching Hospital, Maharajgunj, in the presence of Home Minister Sudhan Gurung, the government expressed its full commitment to addressing the concerns and demands raised by Mehata’s family, the Home Minister’s Secretariat said.
