Overloaded vehicles damage roads early

By Rabindra Upreti, Bardibas, Aug. 5: Freight vehicles carrying loads beyond the prescribed limit have caused damage worth billions of rupees to major road infrastructure across the country. Officials say that the failure to enforce load control measures effectively has led to the rapid deterioration of roads ranging from national highways to local roads.
