Brazil Downgrades Diplomatic Ties with Argentina After President Milei's Insults

Brasilia. Brazil has downgraded the level of diplomatic relations with Argentina after Argentine President Javier Milei made insulting remarks about Brazilian President Luiz Inácio Lula da Silva again.

A source in the Brazilian government said on Tuesday that the Brazilian government has informed Argentina that relations between the two countries will now be conducted at the level of 'Chargé d'Affaires', meaning a caretaker diplomatic representative.
