Riyadh. Popular video game company Electronic Arts has been bought for 55 billion US dollars by an investor group led by Saudi Arabia's Public Investment Fund. US-based Electronic Arts is one of the world's popular video game development and publishing companies.
The company develops and publishes world-famous games including EA FC (formerly known as FIFA), The Sims, and Mass Effect. Since the first version was released in 1993, the company's football game series alone has sold more than 325 million copies.
