FIFA President Infantino Calls Meeting Amidst Plan Cancellation Pressure

Rabat. Amidst widespread pressure following the cancellation of plans to sell commercial and sports operation rights of FIFA, President Gianni Infantino has called a meeting of senior leaders in Morocco. The plan, named 'FIFA Forward Enterprise', was opposed by FIFA's Chief of Global Football Development Arsène Wenger, Secretary General Mattias Grafström, and President of the Jordan Football Association Prince Ali. Infantino, who has been in Morocco for the past week, has called this meeting in Rabat to find a solution to the controversy.

According to BBC Sports, the meeting will be attended by Secretary General Grafström as well as members of the FIFA Management Board. These include Finance Chief Thomas Pear, Legal Chief Emilio García Silvero, Chief of Staff Daniel Otul, Head of Member Associations Elkhan Mambadov, and Media Relations Director Brian Swanson.
