Gold price jumps by Rs. 4,200 per tola

Kathmandu, Aug 5: The price of gold surged in the domestic market on Wednesday, with hallmark gold rising by Rs. 4,200 per tola to reach Rs. 288,000, according to the Federation of Nepal Gold and Silver Dealers’ Association. On Tuesday, hallmark gold was traded at Rs. 283,800 per tola.

Silver prices also increased, gaining Rs. 95 per tola to reach Rs. 4,475. The precious metal had closed at Rs. 4,380 per tola a day earlier.
