Nepali Congress Demands High-Level Judicial Commission for Unrest Investigation

Kathmandu. Nepali Congress has demanded the formation of a high-level judicial commission for an impartial and independent investigation into the recent incidents in Sunsari and various districts of Madhesh.< /p>

Speaking at a press conference on behalf of the party on Wednesday, spokesperson Devraj Chalise stated that the communal and social tensions seen in Sunsari and various places in Madhesh are not ordinary incidents. He warned that it would be a serious mistake for the government to take these incidents lightly or try to cover them up.< /p>
