Divorce Cases Rising in Dhanusha District, Court Data Shows

Janakpurdham. Divorce cases have been increasing in Dhanusha district recently. The latest data from the District Court shows that divorce cases have increased due to social structure, migration, modern lifestyle, and economic conditions.

According to court information officer Hemkumar Mahato, 333 cases related to divorce were registered in the fiscal year 2082/83. Including 167 cases carried over from the previous fiscal year, there were 500 divorce cases in the court. Of these, 281 cases have been decided, while 219 cases are under consideration, informed information officer Mahato.
