Hikmat Kumar Karki to Continue as Chief Minister of Koshi Province

Kathmandu. Hikmatkumar Karki will continue as the Chief Minister of Koshi Province. Following a long meeting of top leaders at the residence of CPN-UML Chairman KP Sharma Oli in Gundhu, Bhaktapur, an agreement has been reached to continue Karki as the Chief Minister.

During the intensive discussion that lasted for more than five hours at Chairman Oli's residence, Chief Minister Karki maintained his stance of not relinquishing the post immediately. Following his stance, Oli concluded that Karki's leadership would be continued until a new alternative is found.
