Intergovernmental Dialogue Key To Federalism

I was invited to facilitate a discussion on how the dialogic spaces embedded in Nepal’s federal Constitution can strengthen the country’s federal democratic system. Participants included key dialogue practitioners and stakeholders affiliated with the Nepal Dialogue Initiative (NDI), among others, who have contributed to promoting dialogue as a tool for deliberation and relationship building in the country. NDI is a broad-based network of civil society organisations committed to promoting dialogic spaces in the public sphere. It organises national dialogue forums that bring together national and international practitioners to expand opportunities for dialogue, peace, accommodation, and harmony.
