Most Divorce Cases in Jhapa District Court Resolved Through Mutual Agreement

Jhapa. Most couples who go to court for divorce ultimately separate through mutual agreement, according to statistics from the Jhapa District Court.

In the last three financial years, out of three thousand nine hundred divorce cases registered in the court, two thousand three hundred sixty were concluded through mediation. The remaining one thousand five hundred forty cases were decided by the court.
