Nepali Congress Extends Membership Deadline Unofficially

Kathmandu. The Nepali Congress has extended the deadline for active membership distribution and renewal by 10 days through a 'circular' without any formal decision. The membership management committee had extended the deadline until Shrawan 14. After that, no meeting was held to extend the time. However, on Shrawan 14 itself, another circular was issued extending the deadline to send to the center until Shrawan 24.

On Shrawan 11, Chief Secretary Krishna Prasad Dulal issued a press release stating that 'the last date for ward presidents to approve applications in the online system is set until Shrawan 14, 2083 BS'. The press release stated that details from remote districts should reach the center by Shrawan 15, after which the work of new memberships would be completed.
