Nepal Health Sector Shows Progress, Faces Challenges in Key Indicators

Kathmandu. Secretary of the Ministry of Health and Population, Dr. Bhichu Devkota, stated that although some indicators in Nepal's health sector show encouraging improvement, some serious issues remain in the 'red zone'.

Speaking at a meeting of the Education, Health and Information Technology Committee of the House of Representatives on Thursday, he said that Nepal needs to make further structural and policy reforms to achieve the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).
