Nepal to Participate in 20th Asian Games with 136 Athletes in 22 Sports

Kathmandu. Nepal will participate with 136 players in 22 sports in the 20th Asian Games to be held in Aichi/Nagoya, Japan. 136 players, including 80 men and 56 women, will participate, said Saroj Kumar Pokharel, Chief of the Sports Development Department under the National Sports Council. The number of coaches is 32.

Nepal will have 1-1 male/female in archery, 4 male and 2 female in athletics, 2 male/female in badminton, 4 male and 3 female in boxing, 2 male in canoe slalom, 15 male cricketers, 1-1 male/female in cycling, and 1 male player in dance and sports.
