MP Yadav Demands Government Answer on Proposed Trauma Center

Kathmandu. Nepali Congress MP Professor Dr. Chandramohan Yadav has demanded an answer from the government regarding the progress of the proposed trauma center in Dhalkebar, Madhesh Province. Speaking at a meeting of the Education, Health and Information Technology Committee of the Federal Parliament on Thursday, he objected to the project, which has already had prior agreement and study, being left in limbo.

MP Yadav stated that Dhalkebar is a junction of the East-West Highway and Koshi Highway and a major commercial center connecting Janakpurdham, the capital of Madhesh Province, hence there is excessive vehicular traffic. He mentioned that the risk of road accidents is high in this area from a geographical and strategic perspective, emphasizing the need for a state-of-the-art trauma center here.
