Mumbai. Bollywood actor Rajpal Yadav's problems do not seem to be decreasing. The Central Bank of India (CBI) has taken major action against him to recover the loan after a check bounce case of 90 million rupees. The Mumbai branch of the Central Bank of India located in Shahjahanpur has issued a notice to auction his two prime properties. Actor Yadav owes the bank 160 million rupees. He had taken this loan to make the film 'Ata Pata Laapata'. Bank recovery officers reached Rajpal's ancestral village Shahjahanpur and pasted auction notices on his properties. The bank claims this includes the loan and the remaining interest. According to reports, Rajpal has two properties in Shahjahanpur, including a house and a farm. The estimated value of these two properties is 31.9 million Indian rupees. These properties will be auctioned online on September 9, 2026. Rajpal Yadav had mortgaged the properties of his wife Radha Yadav and mother Godavari Yadav while taking the loan. Besides Shahjahanpur, the process of auctioning his property in Mumbai is also underway. The bank will now complete the recovery process as per rules. If the remaining amount is not paid on time, the concerned properties will be auctioned. The owner of the company whose check bounced is also a resident of Shahjahanpur. No official reaction has come from Rajpal Yadav in this regard. Talking about work, he was recently seen in Akshay Kumar's film 'Welcome to the Jungle'.
