Two Indian nationals arrested with 5.5 kg of marijuana smuggled from Thailand

Kathmandu. Police investigation has shown that marijuana smuggled from Thailand and brought to Kathmandu is going to India. It has been found that the smugglers use Indian-plated vehicles to transport marijuana.

On Wednesday, police dispatched from the Narcotics Control Bureau arrested two Indian nationals from New Buspark. Those arrested were 43-year-old Rinku Mehen, a resident of Uttar Pradesh, and 32-year-old Mohammad Hasnain. SP Durga Raj Regmi of the Narcotics Control Bureau told Ratopati that 5 kg of marijuana was recovered from Rinku Menon, who had come from Thailand.
