Government Introduces New Public Roads Bill to Modernize Infrastructure

Kathmandu. The government has introduced a new Road Bill with the aim of bringing about a radical change in the field of physical infrastructure and transport, replacing the nearly five-decade-old Road Act.

The draft of the 'Bill to Manage Public Roads, 2083' prepared by the Ministry of Physical Infrastructure and Transport is being prepared for submission to the Federal Parliament.
