Nepal Launches Week-Long International Youth Day Programs

Kathmandu. A week-long program has started in Nepal from today on the occasion of International Youth Day, 2026. The National Youth Council has sent letters and urged all provinces, local levels, and concerned organizations to celebrate the day in a week-long manner.

According to the council's acting administrative chief Gehnath Gautam, various programs will be conducted in a week-long manner on the occasion of the day. During this period, programs related to youth entrepreneurship, employment, leadership development, volunteering, policy dialogue, awareness campaigns, and various youth-related programs will be organized.
