43.8 million fish hatchlings grown

Janakpurdham, Aug. 7: The Fisheries Human Resource Development and Technology Validation Centre, Janakpurdham has grown 43.8 million fish hatchlings in the fiscal year 2025/26.

Chief of Centre Dr Gyan Bahadur Jirel shared that the Centre produced 43.8 million of fish hatchlings, 3.2 million of fry, 1.38 million of fingerlings and 2,053 kilogram of fish in the fiscal year 2025/26. The Centre earned Rs 3.45 million from the sale of fry during the period.
