Power Outage in Several Districts on Saturday for Substation Work

Kathmandu. Nepal Electricity Authority has stated that power supply will be temporarily shut off in some districts on Saturday to test the equipment of the Keroun 132/33 KV substation in Morang and to install a dead-end tower between Tower No. 68-69 at Keroun in the Duhabi-Damak 132 KV transmission line.

According to the Authority, the power supply will be shut off from 4:00 AM to 4:00 PM on Saturday. During this period, power supply will be affected in the entire areas of Jhapa, Ilam, Panchthar, and Taplejung districts, as well as in Urlabari, Pathari, and surrounding areas of Morang district.
