Division Forest Office Chitwan Monitors Tigers and Leopards with Cameras and Traps

Chitwan. The Division Forest Office Chitwan has started monitoring tigers and leopards by managing cameras and traps after their activities increased in human settlements and surrounding areas. Forest Officer Sudeep Hamal informed that cameras have been installed and traps have been managed to monitor tigers and leopards entering human settlements.

According to him, cameras and traps have been placed for 'tapping' at the Avinas Poultry complex in Bharatpur Metropolitan City-15. Another camera has been installed in the bamboo grove nearby.
