Parliamentary Committee Directs Intensified Electricity Access Expansion to Remote Areas

Kathmandu. The Infrastructure Development Committee under the House of Representatives has directed the government to intensify the work of expanding electricity access to settlements in remote areas.

A meeting of the committee held at Singh Durbar on Friday directed the Ministry of Energy, Water Resources and Irrigation to intensify the work of expanding electricity access to settlements in Karnali, Sudurpaschim and other remote areas where central electricity transmission lines do not reach.
