UNICEF Reports 300 Children Killed in Gaza Since Truce

Kathmandu. The United Nations Children's Fund (UNICEF) has reported that at least 300 children have died in the Gaza Strip in the 300 days since the ceasefire was implemented last October.

Edward Begbeder, UNICEF's Regional Director for the Middle East and North Africa, stated that even during the ongoing ceasefire, an average of one child is losing their life every day, and hundreds more are injured. He mentioned that many of the injured are in serious condition and that children in Gaza are still waiting for an end to the violence.
