Kathmandu. Nepali Congress MP Bharat Kumar Swarn has objected in Parliament, stating that Prime Minister Balendra Shah has not granted him an audience. Speaking during the zero hour of Friday's House of Representatives meeting, MP Swarn objected, stating that Prime Minister Shah has not given him time to meet for four months. He also accused the Prime Minister of ignoring MPs from other parties when calling MPs from the Rastriya Swatantra Party (RSP) of Sudurpaschim. He complained that although he applied to meet the Prime Minister on Chaitra 21, he has not been able to get an appointment so far. A few days ago, Prime Minister Shah had met with MPs on a regional basis. 'Just the other day, our honorable Prime Minister called only the RSP MPs from Sudurpaschim,' said MP Swarn. 'We other party MPs were not called.' He mentioned that he was unable to attend the previously announced meeting and later did not get time. 'I had applied to meet on Chaitra 21,' he added. 'At that time, I was in Dang when he was meeting MPs from Sudurpaschim. It has been four months now, and he has not given us time to meet.' MP Swarn accused the Prime Minister of treating MPs with discriminatory behavior. 'Honorable Speaker, is the Prime Minister's lens for looking at his own people one, and another for looking at others, or what?' he questioned. 'I have strong objections to this. I strongly condemn the discriminatory behavior towards us.' MP Swarn also condemned the Prime Minister for his discriminatory behavior towards MPs.
