Nepal Police Operates 2,660 Units Nationwide, 776 Without Own Buildings

Kathmandu. Nepal Police has 2,660 police units operating across the country. Of these, 776 units do not have their own buildings, the Police Headquarters has stated. Police units without office buildings are providing services by renting or depending on other bodies.

At a press conference organized at the Police Headquarters on Friday, Police Spokesperson (DIG) Rabin Shrestha stated that 1,884 offices are operating in their own buildings. 363 police units across the country are being operated in rented buildings.
