Minister Yadav assures smooth supply of cooking gas

Kathmandu, Aug 7: Minister for Industry, Commerce and Supply, Gauri Kumari Yadav, has informed the lawmakers that the Ministry was working actively to address the imbalance of increasing demand and short supply of cooking gas.

Responding to the queries of lawmakers in the House of Representatives meeting today, Minister Yadav said market monitoring was intensified to prevent shortages of essential fuel. She advised consumers not hoard gas cylinders. She argued once the scheme from half to full cylinders was in place, it caused a supply-demand imbalance.
