Dharan Municipal Executive Meeting and City Assembly Postponed Due to Ward Chairmen's Behavior

Dharan. The executive meeting and city assembly of Dharan Sub-Metropolitan City, scheduled for today, have been postponed amidst a dispute between representatives during the budget formulation for the fiscal year 2083/84.

Acting Mayor Indra Bikram Begha of the sub-metropolitan city issued a statement on Friday stating that Ward Chairman Narendra Kumar Rai (Pravin) of Ward No. 18 and Ward Chairman Naresh Iwaram of Ward No. 15 used indecent and obscene language towards the acting mayor during the budget formulation committee meeting.
