Youth Arrested for Robbing Gold Ring from 89-Year-Old Woman in Baglung

Baglung. A youth has been arrested for looting a gold ring from the ear of an 89-year-old elderly woman in Baglung.

Maisari Kaucha, who was sitting in the courtyard of her own house in Batachaur Majuwa, Bareng Rural Municipality-3, Baglung, was robbed of a gold ring by instilling fear and threats. The youth involved in the robbery is Sandip Ruchal, 19, residing in the same place, Bareng Rural Municipality Ward No. 3. He looted and took away the 4.38-gram gold ring from the elderly woman's left ear. Upon receiving information about the incident, a police team dispatched from the Area Police Office, Bareng, took Ruchal under control in accordance with the law. Police have obtained a 5-day remand permission from the Baglung District Court on Friday and are conducting necessary investigations into this incident.
