Indian Nationals Arrested at Kathmandu Airport for Smuggling Marijuana from Thailand

Kathmandu. Smugglers have started adopting a new style in marijuana smuggling done through Tribhuvan Airport from Thailand. It has been found that an Indian citizen came to Kathmandu by boarding an Air India flight to receive marijuana ordered from Thailand.

To deceive the police, the accused who came from India received the marijuana ordered from Thailand in the apron area of the airport itself. SSP Subas Bohora of the Narcotics Control Bureau told Ratopati that Mohammed Sabbir, who came from Delhi, was arrested while receiving 2 kg 360 grams of marijuana.
