Roads Blocked Across Nepal Due to Rain, Landslides

Kathmandu. Roads have been obstructed in various places across the country due to rain, landslides, subsidence, and erosion. According to the details of obstructed roads as of 5:45 AM today from the Police Headquarters, traffic has been affected on road sections including the Mid-Hilly Highway in Tehrathum, Arniko Highway in Sindhupalchok, Mechi Highway in Ilam, Trishuli-Mailung-Syafrubesi road in Rasuwa, and Bheri Corridor in Rukum West.

Due to the potential flood risk on the BP Highway connecting Kavrepalanchok-Sindhuli, all types of vehicles are prohibited from operating on the Khurkot-Nepal Thok-Katunjebesi road section from 6:00 PM to 4:00 AM. Arrangements have been made for vehicle operation from 4:00 AM to 6:00 PM.
