Lumbini Province Government Committed to Indigenous Peoples' Empowerment and Cultural Preservation

Butwal. Lumbini Province Chief Minister Chet Narayan Acharya has stated that the provincial government is committed to the conservation of the indigenous tribal communities' unique identity, language, culture, tradition, knowledge and skills, as well as their economic and social empowerment.

Issuing a message of best wishes on the occasion of International Day of the World's Indigenous Peoples on Sunday, Chief Minister Acharya mentioned that the indigenous tribal communities have made a significant contribution to the prosperity of Lumbini Province, which is rich in multi-ethnic, multi-lingual, multi-religious and multi-cultural diversity.
