President Paudel Emphasizes Inclusivity and Rights of Indigenous Communities

Kathmandu. President Ram Chandra Paudel has stated that the country's constitution has embraced unity in diversity and ensured the rights and interests of all communities.
Speaking at a program organized by the National Indigenous Peoples' Commission on the occasion of the 32nd World Indigenous Day, he said that Nepal is a multi-ethnic, multi-lingual, multi-religious, and multi-cultural country. He mentioned that the distinct identity and culture of indigenous peoples who have been living here since ancient times are the national pride of Nepal. He said, "Indigenous peoples are the sons of the soil of this land, who have an unbreakable and spiritual connection with water, land, and natural resources."
