India's Politics Shifted by GenZ Movement

Next year, assembly elections are due in 7 states including Uttar Pradesh, Gujarat, Punjab, Uttarakhand, Himachal Pradesh, Manipur, and Goa. In these elections, GenZ, i.e., voters in the age group of 18 to 29 years, can play an important role.
There are two main reasons behind this. First, the GenZ movement in Delhi in July, which started a new debate about the political inclination of the youth. And second, the surprising results of the recent by-elections in Bihar and Madhya Pradesh. Because of this, the discussion about the role of youth in elections in India has intensified.
