Nepal LP Gas Industry Association Urges Consumers Not to Hoard Cylinders Amidst Increased Imports

Kathmandu. The Nepal LP Gas Industry Association has urged consumers not to hoard cylinders as gas imports have been continuously increasing recently. The association has urged everyone not to purchase more gas than necessary, as LP gas is being imported easily from India and cylinders are being refilled and continuously marketed by the industry.

"If consumers do not purchase extra gas, the current gas shortage problem will be resolved immediately. There is no possibility of a gas shortage in the coming days as there will be no problem in gas supply," stated the association's chairman Diwan Bahadur Chand in a press release issued today.
