Koshi Province: UML and Maoist Center Hold Second Round of Talks for New Government Formation

Biratnagar. The second round of formal talks between the Communist Party of Nepal (UML) and the Communist Party of Nepal (Maoist Center) has begun at the Chief Minister's residence on Monday for the formation of a new government and power sharing in Koshi Province. The top leaders of the two parties have gathered for dialogue to complete the new alliance in the province according to the changed political equation at the center.

Earlier, the first round of preliminary talks between the two parties was held last Friday at the Chief Minister's residence in Biratnagar. In that meeting, discussions were held on issues such as ministry allocation, common minimum program of the government and review of the recently introduced budget, and review of the province's naming.
