CPN (Maoist Centre) Coordinator Prachanda Criticizes Balen Shah-led Government as Immature and Directionless

Kathmandu. Nepali Communist Party (NCP) Coordinator Pushpa Kamal Dahal ‘Prachanda’ has commented that the government led by Balen Shah is immature, politically directionless, and like a ‘ship without a compass’. However, he dismissed the claim that the government would fall after Dashain-Tihar as baseless.

On Monday, in a conversation with parliamentary affairs journalists at Singha Durbar, Prachanda expressed his views on the current political situation, the government’s style of functioning, constitutional amendment, and future political cooperation. He stated that he is in dialogue with Rastriya Swatantra Party (RSP) Chairman Rabi Lamichhane and feels that Lamichhane has gained political maturity in recent times.
