Nepal Aims for Nationwide 5G Expansion by 2035

Kathmandu. With the goal of transforming Nepal's telecommunications sector to high-speed mobile broadband and expanding 5G service nationwide within a decade, the Nepal Telecommunications Authority has published the draft of the 'Mobile Broadband Improvement Plan (Nepal's Road to 5G)'.

The plan, seen as the roadmap for the launch and expansion of 5G service in Nepal, has a long-term goal of bringing 5G access nationwide by 2035, starting in urban areas this year.
