11 Dead in Yemen's Marib Province Clash Between Houthi Rebels and Government Forces

Kathmandu. At least 11 people have died in clashes between government forces and Houthi rebels in the oil-rich northeastern Marib province of Yemen. Local military officials said that 8 of the dead were Houthi fighters and three were government soldiers.
According to the official, who requested anonymity, several fighters from both sides were injured in the clashes in the Jabal al-Balk front near the Marib dam. The mountainous area is near the city of Marib, which is under government control.
