Parliamentary Committees Meet to Discuss Bills, Human Rights, Climate Change

Kathmandu. Meetings of various seven parliamentary committees under the Federal Parliament, the House of Representatives and the National Assembly, are being held on Wednesday. The meetings, to be held in Singhdarbar, will discuss important bills, human rights, climate change, and received complaints with stakeholders.

On Wednesday at 10 AM, the Law, Justice and Human Rights Committee under the House of Representatives will convene. The agenda includes presenting and discussing the report of the subcommittee studying the human rights status of undertrials and prisoners in jails and detention centers. This committee is also preparing to form a new subcommittee.
