Agriculture Minister Gita Chaudhary Emphasizes Job Creation in Agriculture, Forestry, and Environment

Kathmandu. Minister for Agriculture, Forestry and Environment Gita Chaudhary has said that the government has made job creation in the agriculture, forestry and environment sector a top priority. Issuing a message today on the occasion of International Youth Day, she expressed the view that new thinking, energy and a spirit of 'let's do something' should be utilized for the prosperity of the nation by expanding youth participation.

Minister Chaudhary mentioned that the youth have made significant contributions to the development of the agriculture sector with new perspectives and to the conservation of forests and environment. Stating that youth are the strong workforce for the development of the country, she stressed the need to connect rural areas with technology to make youth empowerment effective.
