112 Rescued After Passenger Boat 'Putri Yasmin' Catches Fire in Lombok Waters

Indonesia. Local authorities said that 112 people on board were rescued after a passenger boat named 'Putri Yasmin' caught fire in the waters of Lombok Island in Indonesia's West Nusa Tenggara province on Wednesday.

According to media quoting a local official, 36 people were rescued by a nearby boat and brought back to Bali, while the search and rescue agency's ship rescued 59 people. A navy ship rescued 17 more people from the water.
