Parliamentary Committee to Implement Report on Inmate Human Rights

Kathmandu. The Law, Justice and Human Rights Committee of the House of Representatives has decided to receive and implement the report of the subcommittee formed to study and monitor the human rights situation of undertrials and inmates in various prisons and detention centers.

As per the decision of the committee meeting today, the report submitted by the subcommittee formed to inspect and observe the human rights situation of undertrials and inmates in various prisons and detention centers will be discussed, and a decision will be made in the next meeting after seeking written suggestions from the committee members. The subcommittee, chaired by MP Smriti Century, submitted its report to the meeting today.
