44 Dead in Zimbabwe Boat Capsize

Kathmandu. The death toll has reached 44 as a boat carrying excessive passengers capsized in Zimbabwe's Kariba Lake, police said on Wednesday.

Police said 44 bodies were recovered from the lake, which lies in the border area between Zimbabwe and Zambia. Police have not provided information on how many were injured or missing in the ferry accident operated by a government agency on Tuesday.
