Roads Blocked Across Nepal Due to Rain, Landslides

Kathmandu. Continuous rain, floods, and landslides have blocked various main highways across the country. According to Nepal Police data, traffic has been affected on more than half a dozen road sections in the Koshi and Bagmati provinces.

The Bagmati Province has seen the most road blockages. The road is completely blocked due to landslides in various places in Bhote Koshi Rural Municipality of Sindhupalchok along the Arniko Highway. Traffic has come to a standstill due to landslides in Bhote Koshi-4's Char Kilo, Ward No. 2's Kodari, and Liping.
