Iran General Claims War Could Last Until January 2029 Amidst West Asia Tensions

Tehran. As the war between America and Iran shows no signs of ending after more than five months, a senior general of Iran's Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC), Mohammad Reza Naqdi, has stated that the war could be prolonged until January 2029.

According to Naqdi, Iran may adopt such a strategy to keep itself safe and deter enemies from any future attacks. He stated that by continuing the war until the end of US President Donald Trump's current term, i.e., January 20, 2029, significant damage could be inflicted on America.
