Landslide Victims Identified in Bajura's Triveni Municipality

Bajura. The identities of those missing and injured in the landslide in Tamsu, Triveni Municipality-9, Bajura have been identified. The missing person is Pratisksha Thapa, 20, of Triveni Municipality-9. Local Dharma Thapa and Dhaulidevi Rawal were injured in the landslide. According to District Police Office Information Officer Naresh Bahadur Shahi, Thapa has injuries to her left leg and body, and Rawal has injuries to her head, legs, and body. Both injured have been brought to the District Hospital Martadi for treatment, he said.

Following continuous rain, the landslide completely damaged the houses of local Dharma Thapa and Karnabahadur Thapa. Thapa's daughter Pratisksha is missing, buried in the landslide. A police team led by Deputy Superintendent of Police Shaileshwari Bohara has been deployed to search for her. Armed Police Force, Nepali Army, and locals are also involved in the search and rescue operation.
