PPR Disease Confirmed in Arghakhanchi, Affected Areas Sealed

Arghakhanchi. The infectious disease PPR, which spreads to goats, has appeared in Arghakhanchi. After the confirmation of PPR, the District Administration Office has sealed the areas of Bishtabari and Makai Danda in Bhumikasthan Municipality-4, Asurkot in Ward No. 5, and Nuwakot Upricot in Ward No. 8, identified as affected areas of the disease, informed Chief District Officer Toyanarayan Subedi.

Strict instructions have been given not to transport goats from these areas to other places until further notice. If goats are found to be transported in violation of the order, arrangements have been made to stop them by local police manpower and local levels.
